Job Description
Responsibilities
- Architect and design solutions for ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) to meet client requirements.
- Implement ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement robust ITOM strategies.
- Optimize CMDB to support ITOM functionalities and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers and administrators.
- Analyze ITOM requirements and design scalable solutions.
- Lead workshops and presentations to demonstrate ITOM capabilities.
- Integrate ITOM with third-party tools and platforms.
- Develop and maintain scripts for custom ITOM patterns and workflows.
- Conduct performance tuning and system optimization activities.
- Ensure adherence to security standards and ITIL best practices.
- Create technical documentation for all ITOM configurations and customizations.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members.
- Drive innovation by staying updated with the latest ITOM features.
- Collaborate with clients to develop a long-term ITOM strategy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM implementation and architecture.
- Expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and their application within ServiceNow.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITOM is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of CMDB and ITOM module integration.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, IP configurations, and firewall settings.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to lead client workshops and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven track record of delivering complex ITOM projects.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Splunk, or SolarWinds.
